Prominade
Salthill, Galway, Ireland
Mid to late August marks the beginning of mackerel season in Galway Bay and a high tide at dusk brought the anglers out in droves. They lining the prominade, often competing with walkers for footpath space. "Next week it'll get good," one angler said as he took a glance over his shoulder to ensure no passers by are snagged before hurling his rod seaward. |
