Having left behind Seattle but not its associated caffeine habits, Arabica Coffee became my home away from home while in Galway. So I was a natural when the owner was in need of images to promote their coffee drink craftmanship. The assignment proved to be difficult, as it turns out lattes have a shelf life of about 45 seconds before they start decomposing. Over the course of five hours, eight baristas pulled several dozen coffee drinks. It seemed a pity to waste them, so I sipped a little of each before discarding. By the end I'd chewed a hole in my lip and was rendered unable to operate my camera. But we got the shots and everyone was happy. The baristas were definitely the true artists of this project.
